From the time Don could be trusted to wash crystal wine glasses, he assisted in serving, preparing and cooking in his Western New York home. He remembers his mother receiving calls from farmers when the melons were ready. The same was true for fresh berries and tree ripened peaches. They valued the two-century old farm-to-table tradition. He still does.
